Team members from across Bowker Motor Group joined forces to support Ribble Rivers Trust with one of its Balsam Pull volunteer days.
Colleagues from a range of departments helped to remove Himalayan balsam, an invasive plant species that can spread rapidly along riverbanks and impact native plants and local habitats.
The volunteering day formed part of MINI Big Love, an initiative centred around bringing people together and making a positive difference within local communities.
Armed with gloves and plenty of enthusiasm, the Bowker team worked alongside Ribble Rivers Trust to help protect and improve the local environment.
The day provided a great opportunity for colleagues to step away from their usual roles, work together outdoors and support an organisation carrying out important conservation work across the Ribble catchment.
A huge thank you to Ribble Rivers Trust for welcoming the team and to everyone from Bowker who volunteered their time to get involved.
