Higher, longer, MINI – with an additional six centimetres in height and thirteen centimetres in length, the new MINI Countryman has grown noticeably compared to its predecessor, offering even more space and comfort. Wider wheel arches and a clear, modern design enhance the crossover aesthetic appeal of the rugged MINI adventurer. The elegant design of the C-pillar differs according to the vehicle trim and is based on one of the vehicle’s four roof colours. The upright shape of the new Matrix taillights frame the rear of the vehicle. Below the model lettering, the body tapers across the entire width and, together with the striking, all-round vehicle band in black, emphasises the enhanced presence of the new MINI Countryman.

It is classified as a "MINI SUV" or subcompact crossover – the smallest class of body-on-frame SUV and is engineered for off-road use with a ALL4 four-wheel drive. You could say the MINI Countryman is a big small SUV. Thanks to MINI’s creative use of space, useyou can make the most of every centimetre. The high roof provides ample headroom for taller drivers, while generous legroom and a spacious interior give passengers plenty of room to relax and stretch out. It’s one of the biggest small SUVs in the rear, too, comfortably. three adults in the back, behind the two upfront. Its back seats fold to create extra boot space or legroom, giving you up to 1,390 litres. It’s a practical family car with a premium look, yet tough, rugged, and versatile enough for serious off-road adventures.
ALL4 all-wheel drive. The ALL4 system is an electro-hydraulic all-wheel drive system that uses an electronically managed hydraulic pump located on the rear axle to distribute torque to the front and rear wheels. It effectively splits engine power between the front and rear wheels on a 50/50 basis by default but redistributes 100% of power back to the front wheels on demand. This gives you all the control you need for all roads in all seasons.
The ground clearance, or ride height, of a car is the distance between the lowest point of the vehicle body (chassis) and the road. This measurement defines how far the bottom of your MINI sits from the ground. The unladen ground clearance of the MINI Countryman is 165 mm, making it ideal for driving on bumpy roads, uneven surfaces or over potholes.
