Bowker Motor Group has continued its long-term partnership with Ribby Hall Village by delivering two new electric vehicles for use across the resort.
The latest phase of the collaboration includes the introduction of two BMW iX1 models, which will support daily operations within the Ribby Hall site. The vehicles are now used by on-site teams for transport and service across the village.
The partnership between the two family-owned Lancashire businesses has developed over several years, with a primary focus on sustainability, corporate hospitality, and high-end event support. Recent activity has focused on aligning vehicle supply with the resort’s operational requirements.
Diane Cottam, Senior Manager at Ribby Hall Village, said: “The new cars have slotted straight into what we do day to day. They’re quiet, easy to run around the site, and fit with where we’re heading as a business.”
A partnership between the organisations includes purchasing the latest electric vehicles and expanding the charging infrastructure. Ribby Hall is also part of the Porsche Destination Charging network through Bowker’s associated operations, providing on-site charging access for guests and staff.
The collaboration also extends to joint activity in the regional business community, including events, hospitality, and corporate engagement initiatives. Ribby Hall has hosted events supported by Bowker’s vehicle displays, while both organisations participate in local business networks and industry programmes.
Amy Lancaster-Hall, marketing manager at Bowker Motor Group, said: “It’s a partnership that works both ways. We’re able to support what Ribby Hall is doing on-site, and at the same time, it gives us a great environment to show how these cars perform in the real world.”
The use of electric vehicles forms part of ongoing plans to integrate low-emission transport into operational environments, with further developments expected as the partnership progresses.
