Our two new Bowker LEPAS dealerships in Blackburn and Preston are now open. At the opening, we welcomed the LEPAS roadshow, where customers were introduced to the new automotive brand through in-showroom events featuring the LEPAS L8.
The dealerships opened in September as part of Bowker Motor Group’s representation of LEPAS in Lancashire. The Preston dealership is operating from a temporary location on Channel Way with plans for a permanent site to be revealed soon. Blackburn has a dedicated LEPAS showroom on Glenfield Business Park, Philips Road, Blackburn.
The in-showroom event offered Preston motorists the chance to be amongst the first in Lancashire to test drive the L8.
John Nichol, head of business, said: “Opening the two dealerships means customers in Lancashire can now come in and see LEPAS for themselves. The roadshow gave people dedicated time with the L8, whether that was looking around the car, asking questions or getting behind the wheel.”
The two events formed part of a UK programme supporting the introduction of LEPAS across more than 40 partner dealerships. The programme, developed with Calex Events, includes product displays, customer appointments and test drives.
The L8 is the first LEPAS model offered through Bowker’s Blackburn and Preston dealerships. Priced from £34,900 RRP on-the-road, it is initially available with the LEPAS Super Hybrid system, with a combined WLTP range of up to 745 miles and a pure-electric range of up to 56 miles. The L6 and L4 SUVs are due to follow, with a fully electric L8 planned for 2027.
John Nichol said: “The roadshow was a wonderful way to introduce the L8 to customers. People could spend time in the car and then take it out on the road, which gives them much more information than simply seeing pictures or reading about a new model.”
Bowker LEPAS Blackburn and Bowker LEPAS Preston are now open, with customers able to visit the showrooms, speak to the dealership teams and enquire about the LEPAS L8 and test drives.
