Service Team Leader

Bowker Preston

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting for a full-time Service Team Leader for their new Preston Docklands BMW & MINI Aftersales Centre.

The successful applicant will have a passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service, be target driven, a confident communicator, well presented and personable.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of Service Advisors, identifying and resolving customer issues and monitoring and working to targets.

This is a customer facing role so you’ll also be welcoming customers at Service Reception, qualifying their needs, agreeing service and repair instructions and communicating workflow to the service team.

Previous experience in this or a similar role at Senior level is essential. Knowledge of ADP Autoline/CDK (Kerridge) would be a distinct advantage.

Working days are Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Service Advisor (Full-Time)

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting for a full-time Service Advisor for their Preston Docklands BMW Centre.

The successful applicant will have a passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service, be a strong communicator as well as being well presented and personable.

Responsibilities will be to welcome all customers at Service Reception in a warm and professional manner, qualify their needs, agree service and repair instructions, book vehicles into the workshop, follow-up sales leads and communicate workflow to the service team.

Managerial Assistant

This exciting new role will work alongside the Managing Director and Senior Management Team providing administrative and HR support.

Business Manager

Bowker Blackburn BMW

Bowker Motor Group is recruiting for a full time Business Manager for their BMW Centre on Trident Park in Blackburn.

As opportunities in the prestige motor industry like this are extremely rare, all applicants must have a proven automotive F&I background, be self motivated, energetic, ambitious, aware of FCA legislation and well organised, with good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Main duties will include:

  • Maximising the sale of and profitability of vehicles and associated products.

We require an experienced Valeter to join our busy team at Bowker BMW & MINI on Preston Docklands.

Duties in the main will be to wash and valet vehicles to a high standard, in preparation for the vehicle being displayed for sale and prior to handover to the customer.

Working hours are 5 days a week including Saturday on a rota basis.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, be well presented, and posses excellent communication skills.  Attention to detail is essential.

Alloy Wheel Repair Technician

Bamber Bridge Preparation Centre

Bowker Motor Group currently have a  new opportunity for an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician.

Based at our Bamber Bridge Preparation Centre, duties will include carrying out the preparation and completion of paintwork for vehicles in an efficient, skilful, safe and timely manner to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction at all times.

You’ll identify vehicle areas requiring work, plan your workload to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales and in line with customer requirements and prepare and prime bodywork to manufacturer’s specifications for finishing. You will also mask up vehicles in preparation for spraying, mix and colour match paint and paint all repaired areas to a high standard.

You should be able to work with minimum supervision whilst continually exceeding customer expectations.
