Service Valeter

Bowker Ribble Valley

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting for a full-time Service Valeter for their Ribble Valley dealership on the A59 at Osbaldeston.

Duties will be to wash and valet vehicles at along with driving duties for our Collection and Delivery Service.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, be well presented, posses excellent communication skills and have a good knowledge of the local area. Attention to detail is essential.

Working days will be five days a week, including a Saturday on a rota basis.

Accounts Assistant

Bowker Blackburn

Bowker Blackburn BMW & MINI require a bright and capable Accounts Assistant with excellent organisation and communication skills to join their friendly team.

Your main duties will include:

  • Daily banking including allocation and reconciliation of all receipts
  • Reconciling and posting of daily bank statements
  • Credit control
  • Petty cash.
  • Month end bank reconciliations, control account reconciliations and monthly reporting
  • Bacs/cheque payments
  • Purchase Ledger cover
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and have previous experience in a similar role. A working knowledge of CDK Drive DMS would be advantageous.

Working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Head of Business of the BMW & MINI Centres on Preston Docklands. The role will be to effectively manage the resources within the two Centres to achieve the required business objectives including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty levels. This is a great opportunity for a Head of Business to bring synergy, leadership and drive the performance of the two Centres to even greater success.

Key Responsibilities:

- To ensure maximum profitability and efficiency of the Centres in all areas
- To continually monitor the financial situation, examining all accounts, daily and weekly operating controls
- Regular liaison with Manufacturers to discuss franchise performance and objectives
- Take actions to sustain and enhance levels of customer satisfaction, service and retention through processes, facility enhancements and training/development of staff
- To ensure the business delights all of its customers
- Maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives
- Lead and motivate the management team, taking steps to create a professional and customer focussed environment
- Completing evaluation performance reviews and developing short and long term goals with each department manager

Essential Requirements:

- People management particularly in terms of achievement through teams. Leadership style should be highly visible and hands on
- Motor industry experience, along with experience in a senior position with established track record in profit delivery, cost control, stock and people management
- Enthusiasm to deliver the BMW and MINI brand experiences and continuously improve product knowledge of self and others
- Desire to achieve the highest standard of personalised customer care commensurate with the brands
- Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment

Part-time Receptionist

Bowker Preston

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting a Part-time Receptionist for their BMW & MINI Centre on Preston Docklands.

Working hours are every Friday (8am – 5pm) and every alternate Weekend (Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sunday 11am – 4pm), including bank holidays.

To be a success in this role, you must have:

• A mature, friendly and approachable manner
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Make outbound customer satisfaction follow-up calls

The Bowker Motor Group is recruiting for a Part Time Clothing & Merchandise Sales Assistant for their iconic Harley-Davidson dealership on Strand Road in Preston.

Working hours are Sunday (11am – 4pm) and Monday (9am – 5.30pm), with Occasional Saturdays and Holiday cover.

The role with involve:

  • Clothing and merchandise sales
  • Visual merchandising
  • Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone

Maintaining strong brand values whilst controlling stock management and security is essential.

BMW/MINI Technician

Bowker Blackburn

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting for a full-time Motor Vehicle Technician for their Blackburn BMW & MINI Centre.

You must have a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of an effective team as well as being a good communicator to meet and exceed high customer expectations.

Previous experience must include diagnosis and fault finding, as well as carrying out services. MOT testing would also be advantageous.

Experience with the BMW and MINI brands would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

Working days will be Monday - Friday, however you will also be required to work Saturdays on a rota basis.
