Bowker Motor Group are recruiting a full-time Motorcycle Technician for their award-winning BMW Motorrad Centre on Preston Docklands.
The Role:
Includes but is not limited to:
- To ensure customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motorcycles of all types
- To employ such knowledge and skills as may be required to test motorcycles and diagnose faults
- To carry out such servicing and repairs in a safe, economical, efficient, and competent manner
- and to carry out such servicing and repair work to BMW standards
- To note and report all components, materials and consumables used
- To report current and possible future motorcycle faults and servicing requirements noticed whilst working on vehicles
Skills & Experience:
- A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service
- Self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- An effective communicator
- Experience with the BMW brands would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
- Previous experience must include diagnosis and fault finding, as well as carrying out services. MOT testing would also be advantageous
- To have served a recognised apprenticeship
- To have attained a City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
- To display an ability and desire to progress through the BMW (UK) Technicians Institute
Working days will be Tuesday – Saturday
