We’ve donated 100 Easter eggs to support the Preston North End Community and Education Trust Easter campaign for families and young people across Preston.
Bowker BMW provided the eggs, which will be distributed by the Preston North End Community and Education Trust to low-income families, food banks, and young people in areas of Preston with high levels of deprivation.
The eggs will be shared during the Easter weekend and at selected Preston North End F.C. home fixtures scheduled around the holiday period.
Jack Mountain, head of fundraising at Preston North End Community and Education Trust, said: “Easter can be a tough time for some families, so being able to hand out these eggs to children across Preston really means a lot. We’re grateful to Bowker for backing the campaign again and helping us make Easter a bit brighter for people who might otherwise miss out.”
This will be the fourth consecutive year that Bowker Motor Group has supported the Trust’s Easter egg campaign. The company began donating eggs to community causes in 2020 during the first UK COVID-19 lockdown.
Matt Hall, Sales Manager for Bowker, said: “Working with the PNE Community and Education Trust means the eggs go directly to children and families across Preston, and we’re pleased to support the campaign again this year.”
The Easter egg donations form part of Bowker Motor Group’s ongoing community activity in Preston, with the eggs distributed through the Trust’s programmes and partner organisations during the Easter period.
