BMW Powers Ahead with Trio of Industry Awards

BMW celebrated a successful May with multiple prestigious industry awards, reinforcing its leadership in electric mobility and executive travel.

At the 2025 Which? Awards, BMW was named Electric Car Brand of the Year, highlighting its reliability, safety, and innovative EV range.

The BMW i5 Touring was crowned Best EV Estate at the Top Gear Electric Awards 2025, praised for its perfect blend of performance and practicality. Meanwhile, the BMW 7 Series secured Best Fleet Luxury Car at the Great British Fleet Awards 2025, recognised for its comfort, technology, and hybrid and electric powertrains.

Together, these accolades showcase BMW’s commitment to delivering innovation, premium quality, and exceptional driving experiences across its lineup.

Bowker Motor Group has recognised Group Service Manager Stewart Rose for completing 40 years of continuous service with the company.

Stewart Rose joined Bowker Motor Group on 1 June 1985 as an apprentice technician at the Accrington dealership.

Over the past four decades, he has held various roles including workshop foreman, technical adviser, and workshop controller before becoming BMW Group Service Manager, responsible for both the Blackburn and Preston Businesses.

During his time with Bowker, Stewart has witnessed the business relocate twice and grow into one of the most decorated BMW retailers in the country.

Kieran Smith Celebrates First Main Event Podium

Bowker Motorrad-supported rider Kieran returned to the track for Round 2 after six weeks away – and marked his comeback with a personal best lap time and his first-ever main event podium.

The weekend got off to a strong start in Free Practice 1, where Kieran set a new PB lap time. It was a confidence-boosting result that set the tone for the sessions ahead.

In qualifying, Kieran made the most of the early laps, picking up a useful tow to build momentum. After a brief reset in the pits, he pushed again in the final minutes and delivered a clean, fast lap to secure P6 on the grid.
