Blackburn Rovers stars treated to exclusive Maserati viewing
Footballers at Blackburn Rovers got up close and personal with some of the latest motor cars at their Brockhall training ground.
The players were treated to an array of luxury cars in a private viewing after training last week, and it was all smiles as the engines revved.
The selection of cars included Maserati's newest offering, The Ghibli. Retailing at around £50,000 impressed with it's good looks and top speed of 155mph coupled with a very respectable 47.9MPG.
The real head turining Maserati though was the limited edition Maserati GranCabrio MC Centennial Edition, one of only two in the UK and with a retail price of £142,170.
Rovers players and boss Gary Bowyer took an interest in all the cars on show at Brockhall.
Chris Eccles, from the Bowker Motor Group, said the models had been chosen because they were eye-catching, and he was impressed with the knowledge the players had about cars.
He said: “Thank you to Blackburn Rovers for allowing us to arrange this exclusive viewing. We picked out some of the most eye-catching models in our showrooms. The players were well informed and knew all about their cars; and showed a keen interest in the cars on show.”
