MOT Technician

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting a full-time MOT Technician for their award-winning BMW & MINI Centre on Preston Docklands.

The Role:

Includes but is not limited to:

• Carry out MOT Testing efficiently and effectively in line with DVSA standards
• Advising customers on the outcome of their tests, and any remedial work that may be required
• Delivering a high level of customer service
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with DVSA/VOSA and Company procedures
• To employ such knowledge and skills as may be required to test vehicles and diagnose faults
• Supporting the team and assisting with servicing, repairs, and vehicle maintenance
• To report current and possible future vehicle faults and servicing requirements noticed whilst working on vehicles
• Maintain knowledge of developments through DVSA portals
• Following all Health & Safety regulations

Skills & Experience:

• A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service
• Self-motivated
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• An effective communicator
• A current valid MOT Licence
• Full UK driving licence
