The new BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé is a four-door luxury sports car that impresses down to the smallest detail.

  • The high-performance M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 4.4 litres and 460 kW (625 hp) in combination with numerous drivetrain and suspension technologies inspired by motorsport sets clear signals: 750 Nm of torque and acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds.
  • The advanced exterior establishes a new design language for luxury sports cars with four doors and is a statement of dynamic performance as well as a striking presence. In the cabin, bold M features and luxurious details create a sporty and exclusive atmosphere.

625 hp high-performance M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine.

The latest version of the M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine guarantees performance in keeping with the latest standards. The high-revving unit develops an output of 460 kW (625 hp). The two turbochargers stand out thanks to their cross-cylinder bank exhaust manifold with optimum response characteristics. The V8 engine is also designed for extreme loads on the track.

Configurable M brake.

Integrated braking system with precise pedal feel and M specific configurability. The new system brings together the brake activation, brake boosters and braking control functions with a compact module. It also presents the driver with two pedal feel settings – COMFORT and SPORT modes alter the amount of pressure on the brake pedal required to slow the car.

M xDrive

MxDrive with Active M Differential guarantees maximum traction and driving dynamics for everyday driving, as well as at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive. You can choose between the drive variants 4WD, 4WD Sport and – in DSC-off mode – 2WD.
