Heard the phrase ‘fuel going off’? It is quite straightforward and does happen! Increasing levels of Ethanol have been used in fuel blends over the years and the typical unleaded fuel blend contains 10% Ethanol. Ethanol by its composition attracts water and it is this water that prevents the engine from starting after a long period of inactivity. The Stabiliser will also prevent water absorption.
